How to embed literacy and numeracy with ALEC
This updated pathway is designed to support vocational and tertiary educators across Aotearoa to confidently embed literacy and numeracy into their teaching.
Two short, interactive lessons introduce ALEC, an AI-powered teaching companion, to help you design contextualised lessons, support diverse learners, and build your confidence with LN in real-world teaching situations.
ALEC is grounded in the Learning Progressions for Adult Literacy and Numeracy, aligned with TEC expectations, and designed to work across all teaching contexts, from trades and health to ESOL and foundation programmes.
Whether you're just getting started or ready to deepen your LN practice, ALEC is here to walk alongside you.
