Language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills are essential for building learner confidence and success across all areas of life and learning. They help lay the foundation for lifelong learning.
Educators play a pivotal role in teaching learners the strategies they need to support their language, literacy and numeracy development.
The purpose of this LLN Educator Pathway is to provide educators with an opportunity to build a strong understanding of the key elements of language, literacy and numeracy. It introduces the skills that underpin these elements and describes effective approaches for teaching language, literacy and numeracy strategies.
Please note: The Pathway is currently under construction. The initial suite of lessons has been published, with the remainder due for publication by 2026.
To access the resources, simply register as an educator (tertiary, secondary or employer), log in and select the ‘Educator Pathways’ tile.
At the end of each Collection, there is a ‘tohu quiz’. Successfully completing it will earn you the course certificate.
